Seekly legal

Privacy Policy

Last updated 24 October 2026

This policy explains what information Seekly collects, why, and your rights under UK GDPR. Seekly is the data controller; contact us at the email below.

1.Information we collect

Account details: your email address and name if you sign up.

Activity: websites you view, save, like or visit, and searches, used for recommendations and listing statistics.

Submissions and campaigns: the details you send us about websites or ads.

Payments: Stripe processes card payments. We never see or store your full card number; we keep a payment reference, amount and date.

2.Cookies and browser storage

Essential storage keeps you signed in and remembers your privacy choice. Optional storage remembers your searches and viewed websites for personalised picks, only if you accept. If you refuse, personalisation uses only the current visit. We don’t use third-party advertising cookies.

3.How we use it

To run Seekly, personalise recommendations (with consent), show relevant sponsored placements, count anonymous views and clicks, process payments, prevent abuse and reply to you. Our legal bases are contract, consent and legitimate interests.

4.Who we share it with

Service providers that help run Seekly: hosting and database, Stripe for payments, and an AI provider that receives search text only (not your account details). We don’t sell your data.

5.How long we keep it

Account data stays until you delete your account. Payment records are kept as long as UK tax law requires. Anonymous statistics may be kept longer.

6.Your rights

You can ask to access, correct, delete or export your data, object to processing, or withdraw consent at any time. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk). Email contactseekly@gmail.com to make a request.
